I have a penchant for fixing problems. In fact, I enjoy the euphoric rush that comes with fixing someone’s problems. Knowing that I’ve been able to alleviate some of the pain they might be feeling, and knowing that I was able to effect some positive change in their life brings joy to my own. This never-ending quest to absolve all pain in this world is just that though, never-ending. Sadly, it may be because I fail to fix my own that I constantly strive to fix others’. Firstly, I feel like I can fix them. Secondly, it keeps my mind off my own problems. Thirdly, I feel like a little bit of my own problems die as I kill off another problem.
